Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement
This overview of the Terms and Conditions is not binding and does not constitute the rental agreement itself. In any case, you are obliged to read the terms of the original contract completely.
implications: By signing the rental agreement, you agree to rent a vehicle from Payless Slovakia and with responsibility for the vehicle and other items rented under the same contract until they are handed over to a Payless Slovakia representative and checked by Payless Slovakia. It is your responsibility to return the vehicle in the same condition as it was provided to you.
It is a pity: You are liable for damage - based on proven technical failure of the vehicle - on a rented vehicle not marked at the start of the contract. He will be responsible for the cost of repairing this damage. The amount for which you will be liable will be limited to participation agreed in the contract.
Return car outside office hours: If you decide to return the vehicle outside the office hours, you will still be responsible for it until it is checked out by the rental company. We recommend that you thoroughly inspect the vehicle and take photographs. You should, if possible, park your vehicle in a safe place to park.
We recommend that you ensure that the vehicle has been checked by a Payless Slovakia representative every time to ensure that both parties agree with the condition of the vehicle.
Traffic offenses: You are responsible for all traffic offenses, including parking violations and speeding when the vehicle is in your possession. In addition to the fine, you may be charged an administrative fee. The way of handling and charging traffic offenses depends on the type of fine and the country where the offense occurred. You are also responsible for paying the fees for using toll road sections.
Fuel Option: You will be given a number of options regarding the amount of fuel you will need to return with your vehicle. These will be explained to you at the beginning of your rental.
You should return the vehicle with the agreed amount of fuel and ensure that the correct fuel type is refueled. If you do not, you will be charged for additional costs.
Other drivers: Only the driver (s) specified in the lease may drive the vehicle. You will be required to ensure that no other person is driving the vehicle.
return: If the rental company does not agree otherwise, you will return the vehicle at the agreed time and place. If you do not do so, you will be charged additional fees as defined in the Terms and Conditions.
Lease: Make sure you understand the terms and conditions. If you are unclear about any aspect of the contract, then you should ask the rental company for clarification.
