INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

through social media platforms

Company United Rental Group, p. r. o., Ivanská cesta 4358/43, 821 04 Bratislava, ID: 44560940 (hereinafter referred to as "United Rental Group") in accordance with Art. 13 and 14 REGULATION OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND COUNCIL (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation") hereby provides information on the processing of personal data by the company abbreviated name companies through social media platforms:

With regard to the services provided by United Rental Group, the pages and media channels operated within the relevant social media platform are intended exclusively for persons over 18 years of age. If the functionality of the social media platform allows it, access to a specific page and/or media channel is only allowed to registered persons over 18 years of age.

WHICH CATEGORIES OF PERSONS CONCERNED DOES THE PROCESSING CONCERN?

For the purposes of this information, a data subject is an identified or identifiable natural person whose personal data is processed by United Rental Group through social media platforms (hereinafter referred to as the "data subject"). As a rule, these are visitors to sites / media channels established and operated by United Rental Group, in particular:

persons not registered within the relevant social media platform who visit the site (e.g. based on a search using a publicly available search engine),
persons registered within the social media platform FACEBOOK / INSTAGRAM, who have established a profile / account, and who visit the site and freely express their interest in receiving information and news (following the site) or express their opinion with the content of the site via the "Like" button " / "Following" / "Follow", possibly by recommending the site to other people,
persons registered within the social media platform YOUTUBE, who are logged in through the account of the service provided by Google LLC and who, based on their free decision, become subscribers to the content of the media channel through the "Subscribe" button,
persons registered within the LINKEDIN social media platform, who have an established profile / account, and who visit the site or freely express their interest in receiving information and news (following the site) via the "Follow" button,

Data subjects may also be other persons whose data is published by the data subject mentioned above during his activity within the social media platform, which United Rental Group cannot define in advance. The person concerned who publishes personal data about another person acknowledges that he can do so only in accordance with the Regulation and the applicable principles and conditions of use of the relevant social media platform published by their operators.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA ARE SUBJECT TO PROCESSING?

For the purposes of this information, personal data is any information relating to a data subject that can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or by reference to one or more elements that are specific to physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of the person concerned. Data subjects are not obliged to provide United Rental Group with their personal data for the purposes set out in this information (if the social media platform allows this).

In the framework of the relevant social media platforms, United Rental Group may primarily process the following personal data about registered data subjects:

name (user name or the name of the person concerned, which the person concerned enters during registration) and nickname of the person concerned,
profile and cover photo (photo of the person concerned or another photo that may also contain likenesses of other natural persons, locations or interests of the persons concerned),
contact details: e-mail address, telephone number and residence details,
data on the age, hometown and gender of the person concerned,
information about the relationship with other natural persons, including information about family members,
information about the school attended (primary, secondary, high school) and information about employment (work),
information about the languages that the person concerned indicates that they can communicate with,
information about life events that the person concerned will state,
places where the person concerned has been and marked his presence in a specific place,
information about the person concerned, who will state and publish them in the profile, including opinions, statements and other information and data from published posts (statuses, photos, videos, comments, etc.), participation in votes, events and polls, etc. within a social media platform,

name (user name or the name of the person concerned, which the person concerned enters during registration),
profile photo (photo of the person concerned or another photo that may also contain likenesses of other natural persons, locations or interests of the persons concerned),
contact details: e-mail address, telephone number,
gender data,
data on the place of occurrence or current work,
recommendations from other persons to the person concerned (references, confirmation of knowledge, skills and knowledge, etc.),
and other information that the data subject publishes within their profile (in particular data on education, interests, employment, experience and skills, etc.), including opinions, statements and other information and data that the data subject publishes within the social media platform,
and other pre-definable data of the data subject, which the data subject provides:
during communication with United Rental Group within the relevant social media platform (e.g. within comments on posts published on pages/channels, within private or group communication so-called chat rooms, etc.),
during the publication of posts within their own profiles / accounts, which the registered data subject marks as publicly available.

The range of personal data that is available to other persons and entities within social media platforms about the person concerned is fully dependent on the level of privacy settings, public or the availability of the account / profile of the person concerned, which is carried out directly by the person concerned, possibly also through the setting of cookies processing o the processing of which the affected person can freely decide.

FOR WHAT PURPOSES WILL PERSONAL DATA BE PROCESSED?

The company United Rental Group processes personal data primarily for the following purposes when operating websites and media channels within the respective social media platforms:

providing targeted and non-targeted business and marketing information related to the promotion of the sale of goods and services provided by United Rental Group, including the promotion of sales promotions, events, events and the organization of contests and surveys,
providing information related to United Rental Group (e.g. information about job offers, about the company's achievements and important events related to it, etc.),
informing about the participants and winners of competitions organized by United Rental Group and about their progress, in accordance with the published conditions and/or statutes of the competitions,
communications with data subjects in connection with comments and contributions published by them (reactions to contributions and comments published by United Rental Group or other persons, positive or negative reactions and references, etc.),
communication with data subjects in messages sent to United Rental Group or in group conversations (so-called group chats),
effective management of the site or media channel by processing personal data collected in connection with their visit or interaction of the affected persons and with their content.

The publication of comments and contributions is generally subject to the approval of United Rental Group or its duly authorized administrators, but this is not the rule. United Rental Group reserves the right to delete the contents of these posts and comments, especially those with inappropriate or prohibited content.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data on the pages and media channels operated by United Rental Group within social media platforms (for the purposes stated above) is the legitimate interest consisting in the interest of the company in building its good name and relations with the persons concerned (Article 6 paragraph 1 (f) of the Regulation).

Each data subject has the right to object at any time for reasons related to his specific situation to the processing of personal data concerning him, which is carried out on the basis of the legitimate interest of United Rental Group, including objection to profiling. United Rental Group will not further process personal data unless it proves to the data subject necessary legitimate reasons for processing that outweigh his interests, rights and freedoms, or reasons for proving, exercising or defending legal claims.

In view of the above, United Rental Group respectfully asks the affected persons not to include any of their personal data or the personal data of other natural persons in the comments and posts they wish to publish within the social media platform, as United Rental Group has no influence to secure their protection and security and verification of the legitimacy of the processing of the relevant data. Personal data published in this way may be misused by third parties (other than United Rental Group) for other purposes for which they were published by the data subject, which may damage the rights and freedoms of the data subject.

HOW WILL PERSONAL DATA BE PROCESSED?

Provision of personal data of the affected persons to other recipients: personal data processed to the extent and for the purposes stated above are not provided by United Rental Group to other recipients for the purpose of their further processing, except in cases where:

the provision of personal data is unavoidable to fulfill a legal obligation of United Rental Group (in terms of special legal regulations),
the provision of personal data is necessary to protect the legally protected interests of United Rental Group,
are personal data provided to entities that process personal data on behalf of United Rental Group (authorized intermediaries), the current list of which can be accessed at https://www.paylesscar.sk/

Disclosure of personal data of the persons concerned: personal data processed to the extent and for the purposes stated above:

which are part of private messages and contents of other private or group communications, are not further published by United Rental Group,
which are an expression of interest in the content of the pages or media channels, or which are part of the posts and comments made by the person concerned, or the opinions and statements of the person concerned, which he states through organized polls, votes and presented events within the pages and media channels operated by United Rental Group are published directly by the person concerned. The person concerned hereby acknowledges that his statements and contents mentioned in this paragraph may also be published on websites operated by United Rental Group, or on websites presenting goods and services provided by United Rental Group.

Periods of storage of personal data of the persons concerned: personal data processed in the scope and for the purposes mentioned above are stored as follows:

personal data that are part of private messages and the contents of other private or group communications are stored for the necessary periods according to the content of the communication and depending on whether the person concerned uses the official contact details listed at the beginning of this information for subsequent communication upon notification of United Rental Group ( if he exercises his rights regarding the processing of his personal data in accordance with the Regulation), or uses the contact data provided by the company as part of the communication related to the subject of the communication for subsequent communication (mainly to speed up the processing of the request of the person concerned, which is not related to the exercise of the rights according to Regulations such as complaints, initiatives, requests and other requests). If the situation allows (taking into account the above), private messages and the contents of other private or group communications are kept for a period of 60 days.
personal data that are part of the contributions and comments made by the person concerned within the pages and media channels operated by United Rental Group are stored (published) during the period of publication of the relevant contribution of the person concerned (if the publication of contributions is allowed) or during the period of publication of the contribution to which the person concerned has published his comment, opinion, statement, etc.. The period of storage of the post or comment published by the person concerned can be shortened by the person concerned directly by deleting the post or comment (if the functionality of the social media platform allows it), or by requesting United Rental Group to delete the relevant post or comment.
personal data that are part of published polls, votes and events in which the person concerned participated or participates within the pages and media channels operated by United Rental Group are stored (published) during the period of publication of the poll, vote or event in question. The data subject may request a reduction in the retention period of such personal data by requesting United Rental Group to delete the personal data in question.
personal data that is an expression of interest in the content of the pages or media channels (Like" / "Following" / "Follow" / "Subscribe") is a shortened name within the social media platform on the pages and media channels operated by the company companies stored during the existence of the respective page or media channel, or until the time period until the person concerned personally directly cancels his interest (unsubscribes from the media channel, or unsubscribes from following the page, or cancels interest in the page - e.g. cancels the "Like" mark I like it").
personal data stored in connection with the organization of competitions are kept for the periods determined by the published status of the competition and/or the published conditions of the competition,
personal data that United Rental Group processes on the basis of consent to the processing of personal data granted by the person concerned are kept for the period determined by the respective consent.

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA WITH SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM OPERATORS.

United Rental Group and the operator of the relevant social media platform may partially process the personal data of the persons concerned also as joint operators (in accordance with Article 26 of the Regulation). When establishing pages and media channels within the relevant social media platform, United Rental Group adheres to the terms of operation of these pages and has no influence (or only minimal influence) to change these conditions.

Operators of social media platforms also offer other tools and services for effective targeting of marketing communications (e.g. displaying advertising content to selected people, sending messages with advertising content, etc.). Profiling of natural persons is carried out on their own responsibility and in their own name by the relevant operator of the social media platform, and United Rental Group does not have access to the data of these persons and does not have the possibility to influence the processing of such personal data. Depending on the operator of the social media platform, various functionalities and tools are made available to the affected persons with which they can manage e.g. preferences for displaying advertisements and sending messages with advertising content, or request the exercise of any right guaranteed by the Regulation and related to the processing of personal data of the person concerned.

Such personal data about the data subject is also collected by the operators of the social media platforms on the pages and media channels operated by United Rental Group within the relevant platform. They are mainly used for the purposes of:

profiling of the person concerned, which can be carried out by the relevant operator of the social media platform (see above) within the scope of the privacy settings and preferences of the person concerned. United Rental Group has no influence on such processing (it cannot prohibit or disallow such profiling within the framework of operating its sites or media channels).
creation of page or media channel statistics by the relevant operator of the social media platform (see above) for the needs of United Rental Group. Site statistics are generally based on personal data collected in connection with the visit or interaction of the affected persons with the site or media channel and their content. The company United Rental Group has no influence on such processing (it cannot prohibit or disallow such profiling in the course of operating its pages or media channels), but within the functionality of the pages and media channels it has the opportunity to familiarize itself with these statistics and deal with them.

WHAT RIGHTS DOES THE PERSON CONCERN HAVE WITH THE PROCESSING OF THEIR PERSONAL DATA?

The person concerned has the right to:

for information about the processing of her personal data,
get access to personal data that is processed and stored about her,
request correction of your incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete personal data,
request the deletion of your personal data when they are no longer needed or if the processing is illegal,
to object to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes or on a basis related to a specific situation,
request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in special cases,
receive your personal data in a machine-readable format and/or request their transfer to another operator,
withdraw your consent at any time without this affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent granted before its withdrawal, if such consent was granted by the person concerned,
request that decisions based on automated processing that concern or significantly affect her, based on her personal data, are carried out by natural persons and not by automated technical means, if personal data are processed in this way. The affected person has the right to express his opinion and object to the decision of United Rental Group,
file a complaint with a supervisory authority, especially in the Member State of their usual residence, place of work or place of alleged violation and the right to an effective judicial remedy if they believe that the processing of their personal data is contrary to legal regulations.
